As mentioned previously, I have been dog grooming in Adelaide for over ten years.
While studying Certificate III in Animal Technology, I was lucky enough to gain employment at a dog grooming salon where I started with the basic dog wash.
Growing up in the South Australian country I was used to washing my blue heeler and kelpie on the back lawn with a hose, so this was a new experience for me.
Potential was seen and this led to me training as a dog groomer and becoming a part of the industry.
After six years I then moved on to a newly established dog grooming salon, where after a few years I was employed as manager.
Just over five years later a rare opportunity came up to purchase a newly set up salon, ‘Luvdog’, and here we are today.
I very much enjoy what I do, from a basic dog wash to a full dog grooming session. I am looking forward to building this new business as ‘Paws of Distinction’ and to be providing a quality dog grooming service in Adelaide.
Look forward to seeing all new and existing pooches and their owners soon.
